Shootbutt for Linux (x86_64)
============================

Install
-------
1. Extract shootbutt-linux.tar.gz. You get a folder named "shootbutt".
2. Open a terminal in that folder and type:

       ./install.sh

No password is necessary. The script installs the game for you only.

Then start Shootbutt from your app menu or from the desktop shortcut.
The game updates itself each time it starts. You do not need to install it again,
unless the game tells you that a new version needs a fresh install. Then download the
new shootbutt-linux.tar.gz and do the two steps again. Your settings and maps stay.

If "./install.sh" says "Permission denied", type: sh install.sh

What it installs
----------------
  ~/.local/share/shootbutt/ the game
  ~/.local/share/applications/shootbutt.desktop the app menu entry
~/Desktop/shootbutt.desktop the desktop shortcut (if you have a Desktop folder)

Your settings, recent servers, Forge maps, logs and downloaded updates are in
  ~/.local/share/Godot/app_userdata/Arena/

Uninstall
---------
Open a terminal and type:

    rm -rf ~/.local/share/shootbutt
    rm -f ~/.local/share/applications/shootbutt.desktop ~/Desktop/shootbutt.desktop

To also remove your settings and maps:

    rm -rf ~/.local/share/Godot/app_userdata/Arena

Problems
--------
The game needs a graphics driver with Vulkan or OpenGL 3.3. The log is in
~/.local/share/Godot/app_userdata/Arena/logs/godot.log
